LATEST INNOVATION FROM SYRA sad reality: our drinking water is not always as clean as it should be. Chlorine, CHC (chlorinated hydrocarbon), residues from pesticides and herbicides, micro-organisms and drug residues flow along with our tap water. Corrosion and dirt particles getting into the pipework as a result of defects in the water distribution often add to the problem.

Triple protection in a single backwash filter
The new SYR POU top performance potable water filter is installed, where potable water is drawn off for cooking and
drinking: at the Point of Use. This new SYR filter offers triple protection: against dirt particles, micro-organisms and sediments
in the water – no matter how tiny they are. In the past, you had to install a fine mesh filter, an activated carbon filter and a
bacteria filter to get a similar result. Only if the filter cartridges were exchanged on a regular basis (= high ensuing costs),
the water remained clean. The new SYR POU combines all elements in a single device. It can be backwashed manually and
therefore prevents frequent cartridge replacement.

The SYR POU puts an end to dirty drinking water and the frequent and
cost-intensive filter cartridge exchange: the POU device combines all
three filters (fine mesh filter against impurities, activated carbon filter +
bacteria filter) in a compact unit, which allows backwashing. Depending
on the amount of accumulated dirt particles, backwashing can be carried
out manually, which requires only a small backwash water quantity.
This means: less servicing and lower ensuing costs.
Simple installation
The SYR POU can be installed easily under the sink. Mount the filter with
the main axis in vertical position. Provide for enough space under the
filter to allow for the replacement of the cartridge and a container to
collect the backwashed water.
